Santa visit!

Every year, I always get excited for our annual Santa visit. We always go to the same place and it’s always so magical. It is usually a different experience for the children too.

We go to our local frosts Garden Centre, we usually make an evening of it. So we’ll go and get a coffee and cake explore the shops. Have a look around the local produce at the farmers market and have a look at the plants outside before heading off to Santa’s grotto.

Every single year they do the most spectacular Christmas displays, the trees are decorated top-notch, and it's just so beautiful to look at even as an adult.

The Santa experience, it lasts about 30 minutes to 45 minutes! First off, you’re welcome by Elves into the North Pole and it’s a beautiful set up. Next we had to the reindeer stable where we make reindeer food to take home. After this, we go and see the big man himself. The children give their Christmas wishes and have a photo with him. Santa’s room is always so cosy and beautifully decorated. After Santa has declared you on the nice list to the toy shop you go and you get to select your own toy to take home as an early Christmas present. Then finally, we head to Mrs clauses Kitchen to help decorate some gingerbread men which you get to take Home too. We were also gifted a book and a Santas snacks tray before going outside to collect a photo (you pay for separately) it’s always a wonderful experience for children.

I just enjoy going to the frosts garden centres to make a magical evening, looking at all the pretty lights and decorations it’s always so festive.

I’d love to hear about your Santa experiences and what you do with your little ones every year.
