The little adventurer has had lots of fun indoor activities this week, lots of sensory play and tray set ups!
The little adventurer loves bookish play, even more so if it has dinosaurs involved! So we had Goldilocks and the three dinosaurs which is a brilliant book and by far the little adventure’s favourite tray set up. He must’ve spent at least two hours playing with all the parts, setting up his own little forest as he didn’t like the feeling of the shredded paper (grass). We read the story together and the little adventurer played with each bowl of chocolate pudding, one was frozen which he was fascinated with. One was warm and one was room temperature, he liked using the wooden spoons to mix each pudding together.
Another brilliant activity that was very entertaining was water play with pom poms, the idea was to sort the colours into their pots and then we’d count together. The little adventurer figured out the sorting process very quickly, we counted independently to three and we said the colours. However the need and urge to splish splash took over the little adventurer and he had fun soaking the living room instead. Overall lots of watery fun.
For any more indoor activities follow the little adventures Instagram page which is full of his daily play and adventures.
Happy playing
