Christmas gift guide

It’s almost here! Can you feel the season approaching? It’s time to get the tree, dust off your baubles, untangle those lights, and deck the halls!

Grab yourself a candy cane, gingerbread latte or hot chocolate and buckle up for our Christmas gift guide!

We don’t go crazy for Christmas gifts for two reasons, cost and we don’t want our children to expect a mountain of gifts every year. Christmas for us is about being together as a family of 4 (plus the furry ones) enjoying a festive dinner, too much sweet stuff and Christmas films to we sleep!

We gift like this for the children:

  • Something I need

  • Something to play

  • Something to read

  • Something to wear

  • Something to share

We have fillable baubles numbered 1-12 one for every month of the year and on Christmas Eve we fill them with scrolls/tickets for days out and experiences to share together throughout the following year! These can be free or paid experiences, here’s a few examples:

  • Theme park

  • Theatre

  • Soft play

  • Picnic in the woods

  • Park day

  • Zoo

  • Autumnal walk

  • Farm

  • Pumpkin patch

This week I’m going to share with you what we’ve got the boys for Christmas!
