The Little Adventurer has had a busy few weeks, it’s been a difficult time amidst the Covid-19 crisis, Daddy Adventurer is home under the shielding guidelines which of course throws out any routine or structure!
The little Adventurer however has and is enjoying having him home even though his hibernating in the study working from home.
We have been trying to maintain a new routine and structure to our days and weeks, of course our paid classes are cancelled for now and we are missing our music bugs and waterbabies families! This means that play, for us, has become a crucial part of our day! It’s something to focus on, something the Little Adventurer can explore, create and enjoy to do. The Adventurer in Training enjoys creating set ups and watching The Little Adventurer play too it’s kind of therapeutic having 15-30 minutes to make something inviting and watching it become a creation of imagination and distraction for The little Adventurer!
The little Adventurer has had leaps in his development and The Adventurer in Training is putting that down to both of us being home with him, talking, playing, singing, dancing, baking, cooking, cleaning and everything in between. He’s learnt so many new words and phrases The Adventurer in trainings favourite is “thank you” we’ve progressed from “ta”.
The Little Adventurer has developed a new little personality and loves to make his own decisions about everything! His new choice recently is to start potty training! The Adventurer in Training is super excited for this new challenge and can not wait to get him out of nappies!! Any advice? We welcome all!
Lastly we wanted to talk about our social media and how it’s really blossomed, we love that little outlet to be able to communicate and connect with other like minded folk!
The Little Adventurer has been featured in another blog regarding toddlers being able to take risks and learn with ‘real things’ (He was using a china tea set to pour his own drink)
