Happy Easter!

This week the little adventurer has had lots of fun activities revolving around Easter. Due to lockdown of Covid-19 we are housebound and all the activities have been in the home or in the garden.

The little adventurer has really enjoyed all the Easter themed activities. he’s loved squishing Playdough which we got from

#organisedchaoswithkids he loved creating a stained glass window with a crucifix, listening to the biblical story of Easter and new life meaning. He’s enjoyed counting and posting activities like feed the bunny and hatch the eggs. He’s had lovely small world play with the we’re going on an egg hunt book for inspiration and bookish play.

We’ve had creative, arts and crafts. Making an eastern bonnet, lots and lots of painting. We even made some delicious Easter treats, the usual cornflake nests and some Easter biscuits with a recipe from #bakefullplay on instagram.

His favourite activity? Water! The boy is all about water play and he’s definitely missing his swimming lessons. So, when we filled a paddling pool up with nice warm water and plastic eggs, he was in his element.

Last of all, for Easter sunday, we had an egg hunt in the garden, we used plastic eggs (not chocolate ones yet) balloons and bubbles, when he saw his treat he was ecstatic. He understood what to do fairly quickly and collected all the eggs! We painted some egg shells afterwards then we all indulged in a roast dinner!

We hope you’ve had a fantastic Easter. We’ve made the most of ours during lockdown and bring stuck at home.
