We’ve had a very busy week, I wasn’t sure what to write about to be honest, we’ve attended our usual paid classes (which we will do another blog post about) we’ve had a few exciting adventures which we will add daily to our Instagram page when mummy is back online after her social media break. This weeks blog I’ve decided to tell you all about some life skills the little adventurer has been learning through play and copying, he’s extremely clever at copying something you’ve shown him once or twice. I could go on for hours, however I will choose one that we’ve learnt this week.
We took our dog to the vets for her annual checkup and vaccinations. The little explorer watched with pure intrigue as the vet examined and checked our family dog over. The dog was weighed (of course the little adventurer needed to be weighed too) The dogs teeth, ears and general checkup was exciting to see. The little adventurer particularly liked the light in the ears. The vet gave the dog her vaccinations and gave us our bag to flea and worm the dog and cats, we get this every three months. Then we headed to get a nice toy for the dog for being good and brave. The little adventurer picked a lovely squeaky blue dinosaur, of course, being Dino mad himself!
We had a fun experience finding out how to care for our beloved family dog, what she needs or doesn’t need. Seeing how fit and healthy she is for her age. It’s a really useful life skill to teach your children, how to take care of something and where to go if they need extra help. Also showing children that animals need their vaccinations too, to keep them in good health is an important factor for our family.
It‘a very important to get children used to basic skills as early as possible so they’re able to grow and develop into independent humans.
